Over the past few years there have been several studies around the impact of clutter on mental health and emotional well-being.

The consensus is that when an environment is cluttered, the chaos restricts focus and limits your brain’s ability to process information. Clutter has also been found to raise cortisol levels and leads to stress and depression. You can read more about the psychological effects of decluttering here.

By simplifying your life and decluttering your home, you can lessen the stress and make your life happier and more fulfilled.
